Merkenveld has 30 ha of forest and meadow available. Camping is possible on 10 ha. For large groups (>100p) we have a separate meadow of 2.5 ha available: our meadow 'Marcel'. The comfort is lower there, just like the price: 30% discount on the normal camping price.
On meadow Marcel there is a (drinking) water and electricity connection, but no sanitary block. The camping showers in the main building can be used by the group of meadow Marcel for a fee. Groups are allowed to dig a toilet on the spot designated by Merkenveld. A campfire can be made on the designated spot on the meadow. The group can also use a fire barrel from Merkenveld, which can also serve as a BBQ.
